I went in for Labor and Delivery and had an amazing experience. From the moment I checked in, triage, every nurse, nurse assistant, cleaning staff, and the quality of the rooms was great for a first time mother. The staff was sympathetic to my recover and went beyond (applying ointments/ sprays/ and changing me) during recovery. They accommodated my vegetarian meals and was gentle every time they handled my new baby. The lactation consultant provided a pump without hesitation. The staff was kind to every visitor and the family that stayed during my labor. My husband was very thankful we were able to have a positive experience for such an important procedure. We left knowing all three of us got the best care El Paso could offer.
Worst place ever. My son waiting for 6 hours and no end, to see a Doctor after his infected leg was cut open yesterday and it has gotten worse since. He can't even elevate his leg there. I called there and the nurse told me someone is about to take his vitals. That was over 3 hours ago! If something happens to my son's leg, I will sue this place because he wasn't receiving help in a timely manner.
I have been hear two days now, two nurses on the forth floor. Made me feel like I was bothering them.(1)Delfina. Hey they should retried some of them. This is the first hospital that the nurses are older be than me. I am (57). No one told me I could not order food from. Outside of the hospital, the charge nurse on the forth floor came in and he ask the nurse why was I here. Nurse just mumble she didn't know neither. This started because I asked for a medicine the doctor order for me. The (old) nurse said the doctor was not. Going to order it I told I had it all ready order and she just walked out. Maybe I should of broken a window and hang myself maybe I could of gone a little better help.(NO I DONT THINK SO). With my luck they will discharge me tommrow. Well this is NO UNIVRESIRY MEDICAL CENTER LIKE I HAVE BEEN BEFORE. If I have more comments believe me I will put them. IAM STILL IN THIS 1960S HOSPITAL.
My mom went by ambulance. She fell. They discharged her saying nothing broken. We landed up in the ER again, different hospital, and turns out she has a broken pelvis - what is this new CEO doing.
They did back surgery on me with no anesthesia or pain meds. Very painful!Didn't get my address so they turned me into collections. I had no idea they didn't get my address as I was unconscious when I got there. Why would you release a patient without getting all the info? Requested statements which I still haven't gotten 2 months later.
