I agree that the waiting period when attempting to physically pick up a prescription is beyond ridiculous. Having said that, they are one of the few pharmacies left that delivers. I didn't know that at first, and once I made the change to delivery, I've NEVER been happier with the service. In addition, when I called in for refills or questions, the staff has been friendly, very helpful, and at least in my circumstances, they've gone out of their way to be as accommodating and willing to work with me in ways I've never experienced from a chain. These people do their best to make me feel like I'm not just a number in the herd. I know they know who I am, my specific needs, and again, so friendly. I'm left with that personalized touch and know I'm truly heard! My advice is to use the delivery service, and if you're needs are ongoing, give them a chance to get to know you. I'm proud to be a customer and support them instead of Wal-Mart, where I truly am just a number, not to mention Wilkinson's prices, even regarding insurance coverage, are far better than any other pharmacies in town.
They are helpful
Always mess up my insurance. Tried to pick up my birth control because I was out and was told that they wouldn't have it in until Monday. Two days without my prescription and have to find time to go back. My doctor sent it in a week ago and you didn't think to have it for when someone comes to pick it up?
Wait time is worst in town. Nice staff but unacceptable waits.
when you are sick and don't want to spend alot of time waiting..well, today i went in at right before noon took them forever to wait on me. i had my doctor call the order in. filled out the paperwork. then tells me 15 mins. i felt like crap and all i wanted was to go home and go to bed. so i went home to rest and eat a little lunch. came back later and weak so used their drive though. only to tell me 15 more mins...what the heck is wrong with this...you need to hire more help or shut the doors.
