Was a patient for over 10 hated to lose them when i moved... Everyone from the pharmacy to the ladies up front to nurses and Dr's all new me on a first name basis.... If i was haveing an episode everyone there got involved..... I could b honest with my Dr about everything and she never judged me she was professional and had the best bed side manner....
I have had my share of ups and downs over the years, but I have a great doctor here and she really cares about my health. My A1C was a 12 several months ago, it's now an 8. She has me on some meds that actually help. They also have ways to help make meds cheaper if you can't afford it. They have nice nurses and Dr.Eades is awesome!
I went to Statesville Family Medicine on Shelton Avenue and and saw the PA and it was after closing before I left She changed a couple of prescriptions for me I noticed that she didn’t have a computer or even a piece of paper to write down the change. The next morning I go back to the pharmacy and all scripts were wrong.None of the changes she made were correct and one script wasn’t even filled. No one told me to make a appointment at the front desk and no one told me the scripts were good for only 2 months so I tried to make an appointment and it was a week after all meds were gone I go back and they tell me the PA is sending me to another dr she isn’t qualified so I go to Davie Avenue and now months later I am without my meds again. I have never seen so many mistakes with a dr office and I need my meds. The phone over there at Shelton Avenue must not ring or they are ignoring the phone because they won’t return any of my calls. Why is that place so incompetent to the needs of people. How hard is it to answer the phone when you have all those people working there. I called the call Center Gaston co and the girl couldn’t even give me a phone number for the front office or the pharmacy!! I said I want to call and report this but she couldn’t help me either. My point is if you are going to run a office then make sure all of the office staff is doing their jobs. Make sure all phone numbers are correct and that someone is Answering the phones!!! I am over this place it will make you crazy!!! I haven’t had a my cymbalta 60 mg and my Gabapentin 400 mg in 2 weeks and that’s very unsafe!! What could be done for this place it needs a overhaul or someone to come in and look over these adults like they are children!!
This place is the lowest you can get! From not getting the bill right to miss diagnoses to a confrontational staff that wants to stand there and argue. The main one who wants to argue is the girl at the front with coach glasses and it happend back to back two days in a row. Both days I had to ask for a manager and the manager did deescalate the situation for the time being. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH SUCH LOW CLASS PEOPLE AT A DR. OFFICE IN MY LIFE! In addition i had to ask for soap as the dispencer was on the floor and a dew days later another man had to ask for hand sanitizer.
This place should be shut down. All these complaints and no efforts whatsoever to fix any of them. Several times i tried to verify appointment over the phone and it goes to automated voice message then automatically hangs up. I took my child twice for appointment both times they said not today. Second time i said not ever again, because we wouldn't be back. Second time i waited in line behind a woman with my child that was far from having her info ready for the receptionist, instead of receptionist letting me know there was another window check in at she acted like we wasnt there. They are very disconected there and part of the problem in the world. Very incompetent.
