For a large, modern facility, they sure do treat people as individuals, with compassion and friendliness. Their care is state of the art and Kentucky is lucky to have this level of care.
Great people, don't care for the banter at the sign in. People talk, and it's quiet in there. Everyone is great and the doctors are very nice and helpful.
We made the mistake of having our daughter delivered here. It is now 4 months later and we are still dealing with surprise billing from out of network doctors from an in network hospital. Save yourself some money and sanity and go to lexington. This place is a joke.
This hospital is nothing but a glorified band-aid station. If it's more than a cut then your putting yourself in mortal danger of death if you go there for treatment. I believe the doctors just Google search (For an hour) how to treat you.
I went to the ER because I had chest pain that morning and about 15 minutes earlier I was having numbness in my face so I was worried about a stroke. They took me back to a room asked my symptoms did not ask my past medical history which is extensive did not ask what medications I was on . They did not do labs or stroke assessment test such as stick out my tongue or hold out arms straight out to see if one drifts . They did not assess my speech . They took for a head ct scan ,then a 12 lead ekg and a chest X-ray . The nurse came in after 3 hours to give me fluids . I asked her why I hadn’t even seen a doctor and knew nothing. The doctor came in and said my ekg and ct scan were fine . I told her in that case I wanted to go home EKGs are 98% accurate with 12 leads.
