Convenient for employees and their families.
As a GE employee this is very convenient and the office is very fancy, it has a fish tank in the waiting area, the pharmacy is attached (huge time saver!), there are 75" tv screens in the patient rooms so you see what the doctor sees on your chart, cooking demonstrations hapoen occasionally... very nice.
I had a great experience here. This is a great addition to the GE campus. Made a same day appointment, within 2 hours of calling, for a lingering sinus infection. Staff was not rushed, took the time to talk, answered all my questions and concerns. Best part of the experience was I received a prescription and had it filled on site. Prescription was ready by the time I left the doctor's office and walk to the pharmacy.
Personnel are the best and make this better than any other similar offerings. The building could use a upgrade as it has the appearance of neglect inside, but machines are top notch and unimpacted by the building.
Part of me feels bad giving only one star - they are super nice, very friendly, and generally quite professional. And with my situation, they have done what they can to be responsive. BUT - they are not on the forefront of medical care when it comes to the changed environment we're supposed to be in. Specifically with respect to those on high deductible plans. If this is you, don't plan on getting a clear picture of what will be claimed by a practitioner or what your cost burden will be. I was quoted one thing, billed for several, and am being charged more than I should have been. I was told that they would fix this in the way they quote treatment cost, and in my bill - I have yet to see that reflected in an EOB. Time will tell I am sure. If you're looking to become more involved in your care (particularly from a financial perspective), this may not be the place for you - it isn't for me.
